The Incident Command Post System (ICPS) Trailer is a unique trailer and shelter combination that can be fully outfitted as an incident command post complete with interoperable communications equipment to be deployed following a natural or manmade disaster.
State-of-the-Art Trailer
With a starting weight of less than 3,000 pounds and 18” of ground clearance, the ICPS is designed to travel anywhere, including off road. The trailer features a 4,500 lbs heavy-duty rated axle, a 4” inch steel chassis for superior suspension and steel-rimmed tires, ensuring that the ICPS, which can easily be towed behind most vehicles, can endure even the harshest terrain.
An integrated ECU offers 15,000 BTU of cooling and 18,000 BTU of heating; while a 6.5 kW “Quietpak” generator reduces noise and vibration. A twenty gallon integrated fuel tank provides for approximately 36 hours run time without the need to refuel.
Military-Tested Shelter Design
Based on the DRASH design that has been trusted by the military for more than 25 years, the system's shelter can be deployed in minutes and has been tested to withstand gusts of wind up to 65 mph, as well as free falling and blowing rain without intrusion of water.
Interoperable Solution
The incident command post features multiple storage compartments, as well as a console that can hold everything from medical supplies to tactical gear. The console can also be used to hold communications equipment, ranging from hand-held radios to Satellite dish technology, to help create a fully interoperable command post.
The ICPS offers multiple optional interoperability packages that can be configured to meet individual customers’ needs:
